Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Elementary Teaching Certification
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Meet the requirements for background check and
fingerprinting
2. Prior teaching and early childhood experience preferred
3. Knowledge of Michigan College & Career Readiness
Standards
4. Exceptional skills in planning, delivering and assessing of
student learning
5. Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a positive
image during the workday and at all work-related activities.
6. Ability to work with professional and support staff
cooperatively to enrich student achievement
7. Professional philosophy in accordance with the Breckenridge
Community School District
8. Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality
9. Ability to communicate and work effectively with students,
families and school visitors
10. Can demonstrate the ability to work with computer databases
11. Ability to integrate and deliver instruction using
technology
12. Use formative and summative assessments and data to guide
instruction
13. Must be physically able to perform all duties required of the
position
14. Such alternative to the above qualifications as the
Administration may find appropriate and acceptable
15. Knowledge of RTI/MTSS, Differentiated Instruction, Essential
Literacy Skills & Read by Grade 3 Law
