Description: Design and instruct curriculum in all
academic areas to meet the social, emotional and academic needs of
elementary students.
Requirements: Current Oregon teaching license with early childhood/elementary endorsement. Must be able to work with a team of primary teachers to implement a challenging academic program throughout the grade level; be able to implement language arts curricula and have a firm understanding of early math learning; excellent instructional and communication skills; thorough understanding of the standards; successful classroom management skills; technology integration skills; ability to work with students with challenging behaviors; and ability to maintain positive relationships with staff, students, and parents.
Qualifications Desired: Minimum two years teaching experience.
Professional learning in trauma informed practices, Collaborative
Problem Solving, social emotional needs, RTI and/or DIBELS. We are
most interested in finding the best candidate for the job, and that
candidate may be one who comes from a less traditional background.

Calendar/Benefits: 8 hours per day; 191 days per year starting August 31, 2020. Position includes 2 days for New Teacher In-Service prior to start date.
