Job Description:
The School District of Milton is seeking an energetic individual
for a Sixth Grade Teacher (1.0 FTE)
position at Northside Intermediate School. A competitive salary and benefit package is offered. This

Qualifications:
The School District of Milton is seeking an individual who will
engage students in the learning process.
Candidates should have an outstanding ability to engage students and inspire them to think critically.
Candidates should be organized, flexible, and have strong communication skills. Co-curricular coaching
and advisor positions may be available. The candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues as a
positive and substantial contributor to the school and district; and assume a leadership role in the
implementation of district initiatives. High energy, a positive attitude, and compassion towards others are a
must!
It is required that applicants must hold or be eligible for WI DPI Certification in Regular Education –
1777 and have the appropriate position code for sixth grade students.
Experience with Big Ideas Math, Science Dimensions, Readers / Writers Workshop and Second Step is
preferred.
