Academic and Communication Enhancement Program Teacher 1.0 Prob Capital Center – Beaverton School District – Beaverton, OR

Academic and Communication Enhancement Program (ACE): A special education program, typically supporting students who were previously supported in a specialized program in a comprehensive secondary school who require a more structured and supportive environment. The program fosters growth through:

• Individualized adult support for significant behavioral and safety needs
• Highly structured and individualized schedule for each student
• Individualized behavior plans
• Focus on modified curriculum, functional life skills, social skills, and communication
• Significant behavioral supports
• Communication supports are embedded within the classroom structure
• Grades 6-12
• Students who qualify for transition services utilize pre-vocational curriculum

Must have an Oregon teaching license with Special Education endorsement.

Salary Range: $45,011/yr to $92,368/yr (2019-20 school year)
