Job Description:
The School District of Milton is seeking an energetic individual
for an Agriculture Teacher (9-12) (1.0 FTE) at
Milton High School. This position will begin August 2020. Come join our team in educating and guiding our students

The Agricultural Science Department at Milton High School has a strong history and is one of the largest FFA
chapters in Wisconsin. A new Agriculture Science facility will be completed as part of a STEM addition to the High
School in December of 2020. The Agricultural Science and Technology Education Department has six teachers and
participates in a larger Professional Learning Community that is partnered with the full STEM department. The
Milton FFA chapter is very active and enjoys significant community support.
Additionally, Milton High School is a K-12 District, with every high school student receiving a MacBook Air laptop
computer. Milton prides itself in offering excellent professional development to support its staff and is looking for
educators who want to be a partner in developing the best education for our community’s students.
Qualification:
The School District of Milton is seeking an individual who will
engage students in the learning process. Candidates
should have an outstanding ability to engage high school students and inspire them to explore the field of agriculture.
Candidates should be organized, flexible, and have strong communication skills. Co-curricular coaching and advisor
positions may be available, including an opportunity for an extended contract. The candidate will work
collaboratively with colleagues as a positive and substantial contributor to the school and district while assuming a
leadership role in the implementation of district initiatives. Candidates should be proficient in co-teaching and co-
planning with special education teachers.
It is required that applicants must hold or be eligible for WI DPI Certification in Agriculture – 1200 and have the
appropriate position code for 9th – 12th grade students.
