Candidates should have a master’s degree or postgraduate work, and at least three years of experience teaching. Experience teaching International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement curricula is preferred. Willingness to fulfill common boarding school duties, including coaching; the ability to work with a diverse student population; and commitment to the traditions and philosophy of a Quaker educational community and a style consistent with Quaker values are also important. The successful candidate will have demonstrated the energy to thrive within a fast-paced work environment, and must possess a genuine appreciation of adolescents, a sense of humor, and the ability to work collaboratively.
