Mid-Plains Community College is now accepting applications for the position of full-time Career Coach and MCC Head Men’s Basketball Coach in McCook. This person will play an active role in career placement, assessments, ADA coordination, Transitional Services, and career exploration activities on and off-campus with current and potential students. This person will also oversee all aspects of a successful college men’s basketball team. Successful applicants should possess a strong work ethic, experience in career counseling/related fields, high-quality coaching techniques including excellent sportsmanship, a commitment to success in the classroom, and the ability to interact with the community. Bachelor’s degree required, basketball coaching at the high school or college level preferred.

Bachelor’s Degree required, while a combination of career counseling and basketball coaching work experience is recommended. Applicants should have a passion for helping students find meaningful careers and developing student-athletes on and off the court and promote a strong foundation for next-level play and transferability.
