For nearly 25 years, we have provided on-site instructional services within the hospital setting, helping students to continue their academic progress during treatment and successfully reenter the classroom. LearnWell has a network of 180+ dedicated educators that commit themselves daily to embracing our mission and positively impacting generations to come.LearnWell is currently looking for our next creative and passionate teachers to fill a full-time ten(10)month teaching roles in Summit, NJ. We would love to collaborate with you and help more kids journey towards their full potential.The certified teacher will work in a unique behavioral health treatment center; which involves working with child and adolescent students in a small classroom setting and supporting them academically with common core subjects while they are receiving treatment.Essential functions of the job may include but are not limited to the following: Plan, prepare and deliver daily lesson plans and instructional material for an average of 10-12 students, with a maximum amount of 15; in a small group setting.Help students one-on-one if extra assistance is needed on their individual school curriculum.Provide appropriate feedback on work.Communicate necessary information regularly to students, hospital and parents regarding student progress and student needs.Updating daily attendance and creating daily session reports for each student.Perform administrative duties dailyQualifications: B.A/B.S degree from an accredited institutionNJ Standard Teaching CertificationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skillsUnderstanding of subject matter relevant to students need.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $19.00 to $21.00 /hour
