Conant High School is seeking a student-centered educator to
teach 9-12 Earth & Space Science. Conant High School practices
a team approach where collaboration 6-12, as with subject area
teams, is structured into the weekly schedule in order to maximize
student learning. The ideal candidate has an understanding of
modern learning practices that differentiates formative and
summative assessments with all lessons connected to learning
outcomes. In addition, the candidate will: – Assume personal
responsibility for the academic progress of all students,- Work
collaboratively to create and implement a program of study that
emphasizes critical thinking,- Serve as an advisor to a small group
of students,- Communicate with students families on a regular
basis, and- Participate in diverse professional development as
scheduled for all staff.
