Pike Market Child Care and Preschool (PMCCP) is searching for joyful, curious and creative teachers to join our warm and welcoming learning community. Who are we? Our location nestled inside Seattle’s historic Pike Place Market, PMCCP rests in the down under of the market. Hidden from the view of many market-goers, PMCCP comes to life every morning to the sun shining over Elliott Bay and the smell of fresh fruits, flowers, and eateries from the market above.

Our teachers work collaboratively in teaching teams of 3. Teams work together to plan safe and engaging learning environments that nurture the whole child, construct curriculum, partner with families, and care for the larger school community. Co-teachers share the work of a traditional lead teacher role. We value experience as well as education and want to work with people who are dedicated to growing their skills in applying anti-bias education goals and child-centered emergent curriculum.
