Lead Agile Coach – Cayuse Holdings – Quantico, VA

Cayuse Government Services (CGS) is committed to excellence by providing innovative and flexible solutions to State, Municipal and Tribal government clients. CGS also provides mission-critical technology delivery as a shared service in our Oregon Technology Delivery Center, which also provides support to CGS’ Federal Government clients. Core service areas for CGS include Information Technology Consulting & Integration Services, Centers of Excellence (CoE’s), Document/Image Management & Processing, and Service Desk/Help Desk (L1, L2, L3, Deskside) Support Services.

The Marine Corps Systems Command has determined that Agile and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) implementation providing incremental delivery of minimum viable capability to the user is faster than the typical waterfall processes. Portfolio Manager, Supporting Establishment Systems (PfM SES) has embraced the Agile and SAFe concepts and supports implementation of this through the Lean Agile Center of Excellence (LACE).

The LACE supports PfM SES at the enterprise level provides coaching, training, assessments, and certification perpetration in Agile and SAFe. The LACE cadre provides resident knowledge and support as needed to the program management offices subordinate to PfM SES. Currently, this includes support to Program Manager Network and Infrastructure (PM N&I), Program Manager Customer Support and Strategic Sourcing (PM CS3), and Program Manager Applications (PM APPS).

To facilitate moving from a typical DoD 5000.02 acquisition process to Agile and SAFe processes coaching and tailored training and assessments of the workforce and programs/projects are needed.

This effort is to obtain certified SAFe Program Consultants (SPCs) to assist the LACE in planning, coaching, training, and assessing personnel, programs, and projects within PfM SES. We are seeking a Lead Agile Coach.

Requirements:

• Shall be trained in SAFe, Lean Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Agile Project Management, and Dynamic Systems Development.
• At a minimum, all consultants shall be certified Scaled Agile Framework Program Consultants (SAFe SPCs).
• Additional desired certifications include: 1) Large Scale Scrum (LeSS) Certified Practitioner 2) Certified Scrum of Scrums Practitioner 3) Project Management Institute Certified Agile Practitioner 4) Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master or Product Owner or Certified Enterprise Coach 5) International Consortium for Agile Certified Expert 6) APMG International Certification in Agile Project Management.
