Lead Preschool Teacher – Bright Start Academy – Overland, MO

Bright Start Academy is now hiring Lead Teachers in our Preschool classrooms!

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a positive and energetic atmosphere, communicating positively with parents and children alike, and providing a safe and nurturing classroom environment. Other responsibilities include implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans, providing a clean and healthy facility, and abiding by all State licensing regulations and National Accreditation standards.

To be considered for employment, applicants must meet all state licensing requirements. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Lead Teacher candidates must have at least 12 hours of college course work in Early Childhood Education or related fields or have a CDA certification. Experience working in a licensed childcare facility is preferred, but not required.
