Lead Preschool Teacher – Rainbow Children's Academy – Bellevue, WA

Descriptions:

We are looking for a warm and patient lead teacher to help preschool students grow up happily and healthily.

Rainbow Children’s Academy has been serving east side families for more than 10 years. Currently we have more than 80 students and 20 teachers. As a lead teacher, you will work with a co-lead teacher to manage a preschool classroom with up to 20 students. You will need to teach English phonics class and theme class daily.

Rainbow Children’s Academy is academic driven school. We have full time curriculum developers to develop and maintain curriculum for all age groups including preschool.

This position is Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 6:00 full time.The school is next to downtown of Bellevue.

As a Lead Teacher you will:

• Cultivate positive relationships with the children.
• Teach English phonics class and Theme class daily.
• Make student assessment and write progress report trimesterly.
• Maintain verbal and written communication with parents daily.
• Interpret policy to parents.
• Perform necessary routines and implement schedules.
• Maintain health and safety standards according to licensing requirements.
• Maintain necessary records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Certificates & Licensing Requirements

• CDA, AA or BA in Early Childhood Education desired
• 1+ years of experience working in an early childhood classroom setting required
• Warm, patient and care for children
• Cleared Portable Background Check through DEL
• CPR, First Aid, HIV, Blood Borne Pathogens training
• Cleared TB test
