Position:
Special Education Life Skills Teacher (Grades 7-12) 1.0 FTE
Special Requirements:
The teacher has the responsibility for the instructional learning program of the students assigned to the special education program including writing and following Individual Education Programs, student supervision, accounting, grading, goal development and implementation. The teacher must hold a valid Oregon license with the proper endorsement. Multiple endorsements in core subject areas strongly preferred.
Compensation:
Salary will be paid according to degree and years of experience for 174 contract days. The District allows up to ten year’s experience in the field of public education. The
2020-21 salary schedule range is:
Minimum: Bachelor’s degree with no experience – $39,976 (Step 3/1.0 FTE)
Maximum: Master’s degree plus 45 hours with 10 years experience – $60,468 (Step 10/1.0 FTE)

August 31, 2020 (start date)
