Math Intervention Teacher – Southwest Vermont Supervisory Union – Bennington, VT

Duties: ?Member of the SVSU Math Curriculum committee and Professional Development committee. ?Review and analyze math assessment data, and identify instructional needs according to multi-tiered systems of supports for students.?Collaborative team member of multi-tiered systems of supports.?Develop written plan of instruction/intervention and progress monitoring for students at the Tier I, Tier II and Tier III levels. ?Provide research-based intervention/instruction for identified students.?Use normed and informal assessments to measure the math proficiency of students identified by grade level, EST and 504 teams.?Meet weekly with grade level collaborative and Educational Support Teams to share findings and plan for intervention.?Mentor and support colleagues in math interventions and instruction.?Establish and maintain standards of student behavior conducive to an effective learning environment and the school-wide effectiveness plan.?Maintain productive lines of communication with students, parents and colleagues concerning both the academic and social progress of all students ?Implement administrative directives in a professional manner (re: new programs and policies) ?Adhere to all District policies and regulations?Other duties as assigned
