Claremont Middle school is seeking two full-time energetic and creative candidates to teach social studies at Claremont Middle School (CMS). The position involves working within a teaming structure and requires a solid understanding of middle school philosophy and best practices. The candidate will have a comprehensive social studies background, have the ability to provide interactive and informative social studies experiences and the ability to use data to inform instruction. The candidate will also demonstrate a solid understanding of competency-based instruction and grading. In addition, teachers will have an advisory group and work to develop/implement Project-Based Learning.
