Middle School World Language Teacher – Windham Southeast Supervisory Union – Brattleboro, VT
Brattleboro Area Middle School is seeking a talented and
motivated World Language teacher to join our staff beginning in the
2020-2021 school year. This position will ideally teach French,
Spanish, and Intro to World Languages for 7th-8th graders.
Applicants with the ability and/or interest in teaching German is
something we strive for but is not a requirement. The modern
language program at the Brattleboro Area Middle School places a
high value on oral proficiency and authentic cultural experiences.
Successful applicants will be certified or certifiable in French, (grades 7-12) and Spanish (Grades 7-12). The additional ability to teach other languages (including German grades 7-12) is desired but not required. Although preference is for applicants to be fluent and licensed in one or more of these languages, applicants who are proficient in 2 of the 3 languages will be given strong consideration and are encouraged to apply.
