Title: Lead and Assistant Montessori Teachers

Karter Montessori has two locations South Riding and Ashburn. We are an authentic accredited montessori program. Our lead teachers are AMI or AMS certified.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Varying shifts from 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM

• Flexibility

• Execute lesson plans and prep classroom environment

• Communicating to parents (going above and beyond)

• Maintain cleanliness in the classroom

• Assist with field trips

• Have fun!

Qualifications and preferred requirements:

• AMS/AMI Certification

• Extensive knowledge of Montessori philosophy

• Montessori Experience (2 + years teaching preferred)

• CPR/First Aid/MAT

• Great organizational skills

• Technology skills to input student lessons

• Energetic, dedicated, and able to become involved in all aspects of the program.

• Strong love of nature and ability to teach class entirely outside is required.

• Strong commitment to educate children and eagerness to learn.
