Preschool Teacher Part-time – Meadowbrook School – Dallas, TX

School Description:

· Co-educational school of 80 students in the heart of Dallas for ages 3-6.

· Staff of 8 classroom teachers, 3 administrators, 4 special subject teachers.

· Excellent student/teacher ratio with two teachers in each classroom.

· Morning preschool (3-4 years old). Afternoon Pre-K (4-5 years old).

All day Kindergarten (5-6 years old).

· English Montessori-based education.

· Structured phonics curriculum as the cornerstone of the learning program.

· Hands-on learning based on choices within a controlled environment.

· Firm academic foundation with highly individualized instruction provided.

· Focus on the whole child to foster an early love for learning.

· Commitment to meaningful relationships with child, teacher, and parents.

Hours:

· August-May: 8:00-3:30 pm (school hours are 9-3)

· June: Summer camp 9-12
