SAT ACT PSAT English Tutor – Momentum Prep – Hillsboro, OR

MMT Prep has an opening for English Tutor, teaching standardized Test Prep & Writing. Teachers will have an opportunity to tutor SAT, ACT, and PSAT for K 7 -12 students. The successful candidate must/should:

• Have at least a 4 year degree and have background check done OR willing to do so before starting the job. (Please include an official or an unofficial transcript in your email)
• No teacher certificate required
• Have skills to help student not just reach their academic goals but also motivate and inspire them to do the best
• We offer relatively flexible schedule depends on students’ needs

Our SAT/ACT and K-12 English classes take place anywhere between 3 pm and 10 pm, Monday through Friday and between 10 am and 6 pm on Saturday. Our summer classes take place anywhere between 9 am and 6 pm, Monday through Saturday. Qualified applicants should be available during those hours. This is a potential contract full-time position after 6 weeks probationary period.

Our English and Math classes consist of 1×1 tutoring as well as group classes, depending on students’ needs. Familiarity with the SAT and high scores are must for all SAT/ACT Tutors. Please include a copy of your SAT scores in your email.

Salary: $20.00 to $23.00 /hour
