JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Student Success Center at Penn State University’s University Park Campus is seeking a Student Success Center Coach (or “Success Coach”) to implement and evaluate programs that support students and fulfill the University’s strategic goals in the areas of retention, graduation, and closing persistence and achievement gaps. The Success Coach will provide case management, advocacy, and academic and life skills coaching to students participating in the center’s programs and initiatives, including Complete Penn State. As a member of the Student Success Center team, the Student Success Center Coach will work to build and maintain partnerships with various administrators, academic advisers, and faculty from across the University Park colleges, Commonwealth Campuses, and World Campus in an effort to deliver integrated support. The Success Coach will work in concert with the Success Center Staff to support the implementation of current and future initiatives related to student success.

This job will be filled as a level 2, or level 3, depending upon the successful candidate’s competencies, education, and experience.

required for higher level jobs.
