Teacher – Tutor – Sylvan Learning Center – Layton, UT

You must live near Layton, UT because you will need to check in at the center occasionally.

This position will work in-center and/or remote! We provide all devices needed!

Just Teaching! No Lesson Plans. No Preparation. No homework to grade.

What you will do:

You will be trained on the Sylvan curriculum and given tools to teach a maximum of 3 students to 1 teacher. You will provide personalized instruction based on your areas of strength.

As a successful instructor, you will teach Sylvan’s proven educational methods and provide personalized education to each student. You will be part of an organization that prides itself on instilling knowledge and confidence in each Sylvan student and family!

Requirements:

• One year teaching or tutoring experience.
• Available to teach 4-20 hours per week in the afternoon and/or evening.
• Bachelor degree preferred but not required.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $11.00 to $15.00 /hour
