Varsity Cheering Coach – SPHS – South Portland School Department – South Portland, ME
The varsity cheering coach oversees the management and
operations of the South Portland high school cheering program, and
serves as the head coach for the fall spirit and winter competition
seasons. Duties include practice and game planning/coaching, and
teaching the fundamentals and strategies of the sport, as well as
working with the coaching staff to develop the entire program.Other
duties include, but are not limited to: Establishing and
maintaining positive public relations within and without the
schoolSupport the athletic department philosophies, rules and
policiesWork collaboratively with the booster organizationMeet MPA
coach eligibility requirementsCoordinate/communicate with the youth
volleyball program and its leadership organizationConsult regularly
with the athletic director regarding the status of the
program
